A classic for sure. Sums up how I am feeling waiting for FedEx to get me my awaited watch... I think it's clever on Google's part. Munch, Edvard (b. Dec. 12, 1863, Löten, Nor.--d. Jan. 23, 1944, Ekely, near Oslo) Norwegian painter and printmaker whose intense, evocative treatment of psychological and emotional themes was a major influence on the development of German Expressionism in the early 20th century. His painting The Cry (1893) is regarded as an icon of existential anguish. A gifted Norwegian painter and printmaker, Edvard Munch not only was his country's greatest artist, but also played a vital role in the development of German expressionism. His work often included the symbolic portrayal of such themes as misery, sickness, and death. The Cry, probably his most familiar painting, is typical in its anguished expression of isolation and fear. Was stolen 'cause they couldn't stand looking at it anymore. Are all the versions as revolting? Should have figured on a Norwegian........cold, miserable, in the depths of despair. Please, do not bother purchasing one for moi. Can't there be "pretty" existentialism? rofl.......you know: flowers, sun, waves crashing against the rocks, blizzards, autumn, puppies/kittens, cars, Bradley/Abrams tanks, etc? Do they all look as though one's about to off himself because he can't handle reality? PS.........am not into tea, sir. PPS..........could have begun with your infamous 3 letters, sir. HA :D ... It just go's to show you that art is always going to be a matter of opinion....one mans garbage is another mans art.... I always liked "The Scream" and although I am a Hienz 57 pedigree I am by more percentage Norwegian :D My favorite painter is S Dali

HAH! should have known..........you and another member of this esteemed forum are Dali people. I like a couple of his--maybe 4. Now, your avatar--is that you kyaking in some fiord? Why isn't there a signature, or is it so minuscule one can't see it, or is it in the scream somewhere????
