Yow, he's a big one!
Thankfully I don't get any bear here, but we get plenty of deer eating apples from our trees in the yard.
Last summer we had a Blue Heron hanging out on my in-law's roof, plucking fish from their koi pond.  My father-in-law (30 years National Guard) was going to take care of it the old fashioned way until a nosy neighbor called the game commission.  Since Blue Heron are endangered, they had to watch as the bird ate close to $1K worth of fish...my kids were really upset since they named every one of the koi, and I got an update of who was eaten every day.  They finally put up a piece of chicken wire over the pond and the bird flew away to poach from someone else's pond.

Snow is almost gone from my yard, just the dirty remnants left over from plowing.  :D
