 Mike: I don't know how to read Cyrillic, but I did find this page: http://www.ukindia.com/zip/zru1.htm. That page tells me--after some decoding--that you do indeed have a Buran.
  • Y sounds like "OO" in
  • P sounds like R
  • H sounds like N
Put that all together and you have something like "boo-run" (or close to it).
