Hello all!

Not to worry about my toes!  They can take it!

But I have to say thank you to Oscar for stating, perhaps more firmly, what I am trying to gently say - in order to get this project off the ground a lot of little things need to happen:

1.  We need to confirm that we have enough parts to run the 33 - cases, dials and crowns.  We are FAIRLY confident that the answer to this is yes, however, it will be confirmed when Berg completes his inventory this week.

2.  We need to secure enough ETA movements - for those who are interested, the movement is the ETA 2824-2  and as you know it is modified for a 6 o'clock date.  We are hunting these down now, and hope to source them in the US.  If we cannot, then we have to either order directly from ETA - which will push us back well past December, and sort of defeats the whole purpose of what we are trying to accomplish by keeping it quick and easy.  I have found another ETA movement that might fit the bill - but I will need to do some more research on it, and make sure that our assembler is in agreement with its use.

3.  We need to get the dial and hands modified.  I think that the possibility of re-luming some of the indices in the 3T Green (either 4 or 6) and the tips of the hour and minute hands is very do-able - BUT this costs money for each step.  We want to hit as close to your price outline as possible, yes it will certainly have a 3T logo!  Don't worry about that.  We are also going to investigate the possibility of having the model number (i.e. 1/33) on the dial - what do you think?

4.  We would need deposits of at least 50% from all interested parties.

Having said all of that, Berg and I are very excited about this project, and want to make it happen.  We are hopefully nearing the finish line.  I promise to keep you posted!
