Hey...........Boise State? Granted they played in a great game, but as the # 8 ranked team, they barely eaked out a victory over #10 Oklahoma! Their schedule consisted of the likes of Wyoming, Hawaii, San Jose State, New Mexico State, Fresno State, Nevada, Sacramento State, Utah State, Louisiana Tech.................give me a break. That said, they had a great season.....but National Champion, that's like saying Michigan deserved it because they "Almost" beat OSU!
The Gators, on the other hand, won the SEC Championship and defeated 10 Bowl bound teams before annihilating Ohio State last night and upsetting their planned coronation ceremony. Steve, BTW, was also right.....did I honestly think Florida would crucify the Buckeyes.........no, but as I did state, OSU had never played a team with Florida's speed.........they ought to be thankful Florida cut them some slack by deciding not to score on their final drive!
In summation: Boise State MY ASS!
Well spoke, Ken! And in the spirit of true WIS friendship, we wont even mention the holding penalty that should have been called on the first (and best) play by OSU of the game... oops... coyote2.gif
You mean when the guy grabbed Gator #8 (I think), who was in hot pursuit, by the back of the jersey ???
It could have easily been a 48 to 7 game..............let's see, OSU is now 0 - 8 against SEC teams!
