I started racing bikes on the west coast back in the early 80's. I raced the AMA for 2 years for Yamaha. I rode Leguna seca about 6 times for races, logged about 400 laps for testing. ran the willow course also. I rode the TZ 750 2 stroke. one of the meanest bikes in the world. When I moved east to nashville I rode the WERA circuit for a number of years. The cork screw is a 3 story drop of sheer terror at speed! You come up the front straight at about 155 mph, swing slightly right at the top, hammer the brakes back the ass end of the bike to the right and grab your twig and berries for the descent into hell.
