I use paypal on all my transactions. The other forum members here who do business with me can verify it. yes, ebay and paypal are one and the same. I only buy on ebay using paypal. Its the only form of payment thats covered under the buyers protection act of ebay. Regaurdless of how you fund paypal, you are covered up to 2000.00 on a purchase. to be a verified member you use your bank account as primary, and a cc as your back up source. If you get screwed on a transaction, paypal will start a inquiry on your behalf. If you win, and you will as long as you followed the guidelines set forth by the seller, you get your money back minus a 25.00 fee. thats ebay paying you back up to the 2000.00 limit if the seller refuses to refund or freezes there bank account to stop a payment to paypal. You always get your money back. You don't get it back on wire transfers, bidpay or western union. any auction that doesn't take paypal I stay away from. Its just a seller with something to hide. I have filed disputes before on watches and won every time. either the seller paid or ebay paid with the automatic insurance protection.
