THE PACKERS ARE MUCH BETTER OFF with Brett Favre at QB .... and Even though it seems to you that I am "claiming" Brett is a buddy , and this seems outlandish to you ?!?!? I am speaking only as a football fan when I say Arron Rodgers will never be anything better than a poor mans Joey Harrington
OOPS! You took my words wrong.............I have no doubt that Favre is your friend.....you have said so and I have no reason whatsoever to not believe you! As a matter of fact, I have every reason to believe you. Sorry that you took unintended offense to the way my statement was worded.!
That said, Brett Favre was a magnificant player, a certain Hall of Famer, but now in the twilight of his career..............the only really great QB I've seen, that knew when it was time to leave, was Bob Griese. It may be true that the Packers are a much better team with Favre than without him, but that doesn't say much about the planning and management skills of the team's hierarchy...so, as a Bears fan, I can only conclude that what was truly meant is, that while the Packers SUCK, they SUCK less with Favre than the SUCK without him!woohoo.gif
