 I have the freeway flyer to put in it. it will fit. it is the irs axle setup. 80 mph  at 2200rpm. I think the change over on the trans was in 1968, the ones that were made in the 1st 6 months had the old style, after that the new one showed up. I can also get any part for the 68. the 73 sucked for getting door moldings, glass, etc.
