personally I look for mechanical watches that catch my eye by the looks ...but I certainly try to obtain a watch brcause of the brand , for example i went out and looked for a Titoni , an Encicar and an Eterna becuse I wanted at least one of those watches in my collection ....I also make sure I have at least one of pretty much every Swiss made brand that has history
