Hey Hucky, here's a few tips for what they are worth: If are shooting outdoors try not to photograph in direct sun light. Direct sunlight blows out the image with hot highlights and grainy shadows. Try to shoot on overcast days or late in the after noon just after the sun drops below the horizon, this will give you a softer ambient light. If you want to shoot indoors, check out the "bay" for complete kits containing tabletop light tent and photo light setup. You can find them priced very reasonably and get great results.
