Hi.  Alot depends on which model Trias you are looking at.  If you can, please post a picture of it and you'll get more detailed advice on it I'm sure. 

But, in general, Trias is a lower-spectrum German brand who manufacturers in China and often uses Chinese movements - but sometimes uses the Citizen Miyota movement.

Am I ambivalent about Trias watches??  Well, yes and no.  Some models have a very attractive design and are probably worth the investment.  But for other models there are better options out there for roughly the same price range.  My best recommendation is that if you do choose a Trias, you are wise to purchase from a reputable dealer such as the respected Long Island Watch (who do have a very nice selection on their website by the way).
