Purchased this year from Howard Marz at WestCoastTime who described the watch this way, "Produced by A Wajs the design member of the well known firm of Ollech and WAJS of Switzerland - A SPECIAL OPPORTUNITY FOR COLLECTORS. There are 80 made with silver dial ( 80/600 ! ) a first issue 1 of 600 – This is the beginning of the end this DIAL series - like part of a set of this “MASTER” SERIES from the SWISS firm that brought you O & W watches for the past 50 years – this is NEW and just made with the tried and tested UNITAS 6948 movement ( also ETA 6948 ) 17 jewels with a POWER RESERVE of 42 hours . The same movement family used in the LUMINOR PANERAI of 1992/93 issue……. This is an ALL stainless watch newly made with a hi-polish all Stainless construction and engraved back with rugged crown guard. The UNITAS has been known to watch lovers as an outstanding movement and the one preferred for years for its reliability and ease of repair whenever rarely needed."
