The first of my three Lupahs quit running yesterday. Time for a new battery I guess. Does anyone know what battery they take? I would prefer to have the new battery in hand before opening the case.  T.I.A.

Thanks, guys. I picked up a coupse of 394's at Radio
Shack and changed it this morning. I didn't realize that "Swiss movement" was made in Thailand. Is it identical to a real Swiss G-10?

yes and NO it is all the Swiss parts ! BUT they put it all together in Thailand! I don't have a problem with this unless you buy a first generation of them ! after that those countries can do it as good as any one IMHO ! They have proved that time and time again Grundig radio is a great example ! the first ones made in China had trouble the second round less trouble and the third were perfect and all since then ! lots a products are done this way now ! Not just watches !!!! Its a small world now and getting smaller !! a couple or 4 swiss go train the workers in china and perty soon there as good as the orignal I know NO one wants to admit or here this but its becoming a fact .. And is why we caN BUY THESE WATCHES AT SUCH GREAT PRICES !! imho ...A lot of us can remeber when Made in japan was a cuss word ! Now there the best in the world at a LOT a things and there now shipping there stuff to other countries with cheap labor Sony is a case in point again there short wave radios until like 3 yrs ago were made in Japan and were just super Quality there model 2010 is a legend  I think they have since sent it all to china I think  and NO quality loss I have heard of ....Its all about the Benjamins :O))))

It seems that these folks had the same question about the term Japan Mov't. Read what Citizen of America Customer Service wrote in reference to this question.
