http://forums.timezone.com/index.php?t=tree&goto=3888442&rid=0 Do you guys think this is a fair deal? I'm kinda hesitant, but I haven't been seeing many of these here lately. I'm pretty curious what you guys think. |

Without knowing the service history, it seems on the high end for a watch that appears to be well used, Murph. Those just have an ETA 2824 in them. |

No murph - looks like he did too many motocrosses with it. And fell imnto the water. And scratched it on the way out. That is a big buck for a 2824 Tudor Sub with so many obvious signs of use, isn't it? A quick search of the forums and the bay show that for similar but better cosmetic Tudors - that is really the top price. Is there something special about it that attracts you to it, other then the serial number range? There are three on the bay right now! If it were me, and I HAD to have one, I would still wait and let that one on TZ gently move to some other purchaser who wants to refurb it him or herself with a new bezel, new crystal and a good polish. After buying it for 10 to 15 percent less than the asking price... JMHO! Cheers - IanM |

WOW! I thinks the consensus is unanimous. I kinda felt like the price was a the high end, but needed some more seasoned opinions. Thanks guys, I appreciate it. And Oscar, if you noticed, I've finally figured out how to post a link:D |

I'm still looking though. Eventually I'll find that one I just can't walk away from, like I did with my Omega Seamaster. |

Thanks Ken, but that's not neccasary. I'll just have to be patient, because I know that one is out there with my name on it and I'll know it when I see it. I don't know what my fascination with the Tudor line is, but the ONLY Rolex that appeals more is the Sea Dweller and that is definately outside the budget. I wish it wasn't, because those babys are gonna skyrocket in price over the next year or two. |
