OK, for what it's worth, I received an email, with prices and pics of SLOP's Invicta shows set for this weekend. This missive had both prices and pics of new models (some of which look pretty nice, others are available as very siimilar models made by other companies at much lower prices...the "Vintage Elite" for example).

Looks Like Invicta is Knocking Everything Off From Oris to August Steiner..the Swiss Diver is Cool...Hope it Comes Down in Price Though! ...........................The Sheep Will be Baaaaa Baaaa'n All Weekend with the Sheeps Song ............

They'll ALL come down in price, Oscar.....I don't even bother paying attn. to what they open with. Sometimes, during a show, surprise, surprise, somebody's knocked another 50+ off.

Then, will come endless clearances = lower prices; if you can hold off for Christmas, it'll go for less than peanuts AND free shipping! Agree with you about the knockoffs and the Swiss Diver.
