Hi team Was surfing and found this site with the model variants of what I consider to be a very cool, if rather pricey, unique little number: https://www.pita.es/jsp/ssl/reserveOceana.jsp?utm_source=Pita+Barcelona+-+press+information&utm_campaign=44f5d50330-Oceana_Reporters_information7_2_2009&utm_medium=email Price aside - what a pretty puppy! I am aware that O posted a link to the pre-release and the promo video some time ago, but I thought you might like to see the whole range. Rose gold for me, when I win the lottery!! Cheers and enjoy - IanM hand6.gif

Ian I have been visiting this site quite often, and must say I am intrigued by the whole concept and design. I will settle for the mundane, hardened s/s, thank you very much........

Well, Graham - I must say I would "settle" for that one, too! More affordable (can you use that term when you are speaking about thousands of Euros??) than the rosie version, but no less beautiful. The all-black variant is pretty special, too. I can imagine the black version on one of Jeannas special straps - like the tan one O hsa shown us in the daily wearer section today. The platinum and the 18k versions - not up my alley. Interesting, that time setting mechanism. Quite innovative. And whilst I can not profess to like every other model they make - I think that they are introducing that special Spanish "style" into watchmaking - and that is not a bad thing. BRP - you already have some watches that we all dream about, mate! Graham - I am furiously working my a** off and saving for a 1200m Ploprof, because the photographs of yours have seriously pushed me over the edge! Darn thats a pretty watch! And it is next on the hit list. This WIS habit teaches temperance, doesn't it! As in all things, guys, one at a time is fine by me... but you gotta have goals, I think. And watches are cheaper than ex-wives! Cheers! Ian hand6.gif

Great innovation but isn't his strap-locking system for the under bezel ,makes it impossible to use other straps than his?

Not sure, hammer, but I would not be surprised! There is a "locking mechanism" designed to keep the strap stable, but there is no mention of whether the "brake" is inherent to the strap or to the case. We can probably safely assume it is a fitting on the case. Strap makers are very good at replacing any and all strap variations - so perhaps the answer is "difficult but not impossible"? Have a great day, hammer! IanM

From what I understood: You switch time by turning the back case bezel and to avoid that the time get changed by accident, the straps are locking this same bezel when they come down to the wrist. Meaning that if you change the straps, the back bezel don't get locked anymore...
