VIANNEY HALTER LAUNCHES TOOL WATCH FOR SCUBA-DIVING Apr 1, 2012by Andreas

(c) Vianney Halter, Antiqua Ocean, 2012
It’s been fourteen years since Vianney Halter presented his legendary Antiqua. Today he announced the launch of the Antiqua Ocean – his distinctive and unique interpretation of a dive watch.
Like on the Antiqua, the various functions are dispatched on several portholes: The time indication with hours, minutes and seconds is in the porthole on the upper right, while the date is just underneath. The dial on the lower left shows the dive duration, while the upper left porthole houses a depth gauge indication. The Antiqua Ocean comes in a stainless steel case with a water resistance down to 300m. Vianney Halter uses a hand-sewed rubber strap with a stainless steel ardillon buckle.
More informations will be communicated soon on http://www.vianney-halter.com.

May be useful to weight down a fishing line but might scare the fish!

You guys have no idea what you are talking about. This is a beautiful piece, brilliantly executed and will, doubtless, join the pantheon of classics. I write this is as I am riding my flying pig to work... raspberry.gif

As a retired scuba diver who did some maxed out dives on compressed air (read: NARCED!) I can tell you that it will be near impossible to make out anything on that watch when nitrogen narcosis sets in; in fact I don't think you'll make out anything while snorkeling!subtlelaugh.gif
