I am thinking about ordering a Tissot PRS516. Has anyone had experience with this watch? Is Tissot a reliable brand?

It is one of my favorite watches; reliabel, comfortable and keeps great time. It is one of the best buys out there in a Swiss Made watch IMHO. Mine: Attachment: 2006-04-10 003.JPG (Downloaded 104 times)

I used to have the black on brown strap as show, really liked it, but this was back when I was really into HUGE watches so the 40mmm size looked a little small to me. Very good watch for the price tho, I like the hour markers their "floating", stuck under the sapphire crystal which makes a unique look when you notice it. And you got to love Tissot boxes(im a sucker for boxes :P)

Actually the "white" faced automatic has a silver dial, not white. I have it on bracelet, and it's very cool. The dial is a matt/brushed silver metal color that is very similar in color and texture to the brushed parts of the stainless steel case/bracelet. The effect is that it looks like the dial is the same metal as the rest of the watch. The bracelets on these are very cool and unique, and I would advise getting the watch with bracelet, since you won't be able to find anything like it elsewhere, and getting one from Tissot later will cost $70 or more; a racing strap with holes like the Tissot's is easy to find , and way cheaper. jsb806f wrote: Thanks Edgel! They can get more expensive, but they can't get much better. Ashford.com has the white/silver dial BNIB for $259 shipped! My dark blue dial! ![]()

These are fantastic watches which look and wear as much more expensive pieces, in my opinion. My only regret is that I did not buy the bracelet version. Beautiful dial and caseback... a great watch! Here's mine... For more pix of the Tissot and others see my photoblog at: http://pman2.photosite.com/PaxmansWatchCollection/ Pax ![]()

Correction..............Ashford.com is $279.00 but google can usually find a 10% coupon. Jomashop.com has the black dial for $259 shipped. Both on SS Bracelet.

Anyone happen to know the difference(s) between these two? http://www.jomashop.com/tissot-t91-1-483-41.html ![]() http://www.jomashop.com/tissot-t91-1-483-51.html ![]() The model numbers are different and one has "T-Sport" in the name. One has "PRS516" in red; the other's in white. Other than that, they seem to be the same watch.

Looks like a misprint Or?...I believe the T-Sport is Blue Dial....I sent an e-mail. I will order the Black Dial on Bracelet though after seeing Jomashop has them in Stock! The Black Dial PRS516 on Bracelet was never available to the U.S market only Blue and Silver Dials.....Black only came on Strap....Great Deal at $259. NIB ![]()
