What do you guys think about TUDOR? Any thoughts? I saw a chrono model that I like with TACHYMETRE print on it's shinning bezel (not the tiger nor pre-tiger model) from a local AD. But before I pull the trigger I have to get some inputs first from the experts like most of you guys here. On my research, I have seen some TUDOR watches on the NET carrying the name ROLEX on some early models. Are they still connected to Rolex today? Regards, Nando

Ah, so I'm not the only one who has to wait for the wife's approval! That's comforting to know. I suppose I'm not the only husband who has been told to sell some before you buy any more. :) Last edited on Fri Sep 1st, 2006 01:27 am by |

I have 3 Tudor watches and I think they are fantastic watches. The only reason they are not popular is because they are not sold in the U.S....if they were, I'm sure they would compete directly with Omega//Oris as they are in that price range. I've got a Chronograph, black dial with silver subdials, a silver dial Hydronaut and my grandfathers vintage Submariner which came back from Rolex Canada last year after a full service. The chronograph model in particular is a great looking piece and has that retro Rolex Daytona look to it with the stick hands, baton markers and the different colored subdials. It really is a "poor mans" Daytona..but you also get a date as well. ![]() Last edited on Sat Sep 9th, 2006 07:34 pm by Mr_Pacman |
