My Orients keep very accurate time.

Anyone else have similar accuracy out of theirs?

I am not experienced with the Orient product, but I am getting very good accuracy out of my 2 watches.  The watches that I wear all set on Orbita winders, so I know that they are all under similar conditions and angles, but the Orients are not advancing very much at all compared to Seiko or even Myota which are of similar price points.  I was wondering if an one else has had similar results.

I have 3 orients.............The Black Beast, Blue Mako (200M Diver) and one little dress watch with no specific name or model number.  They are all outstanding, extremely accurate watches with great fit & finish. hand6.gif

I have 7 Orient's that are all accurate to within 0 to +5sec per day when worn. I don't have a winder, so I cannot speak to your question there. I find that my Orients are more accurate than any of my Seikos. None of these has been regulated and are this accurate right from the start. I have always suspected that Orient takes more trouble to regulate their movements at the factory than does Seiko. Of course, I am only familiar with the 7s26/36 movements. I am sure Seiko does take more time to regulate the movements in their higher line GS watches.

Interestingly enough, Orient Watch is 52% owned by Epson which is a division of Seiko most widely known for printers!
