Written by JS on another forum!!! Is this Guy for Real!!Exclusive..........very 1st 300 pieces...............what a crock of Crap :P:P Tissot was the 1st to use it! JS obviously doesn't have a clue about Watches/Horology face4.gif View previous topic :: View next topic Author Message Posted: Fri Sep 22, 2006 3:18 am Post subject: See it first! ETA G15.261 retrograde chronograph Announced at Basel 06, the new Swiss ETA G15.261 has been pretty highly anticipated. I thought I remembered an announcement that Tissot would have them first in the PRS516 line, but I have not seen one myself. The first watch to be delivered to the public with this groundbreaking new ETA movement will be from Android, and exclusive to ShopNBC viewers. Pics are down below. I spoke with Wing and he says that he was able to secure the very first 300 pieces of this movement, which is a major accomplishment for a brand that is not all-Swiss! Wing has quite an amazing story to share about these movements, but I will let him tell it instead. Here are the specs that I have found on the movement: ETA G15.261 quartz chronograph movement Diameter: 10½''' (23.30 mm) Height: 5.25 mm Frequency: 32,768 Hz Jewels : 6 Functions: hours, minutes, seconds, date, chronograph Chronograph functions: central 30-second counter, over 180° (retrograde hand, scale in the counter-clockwise direction)5 minute counter at 2 o’clock, over 120° (retrograde hand, scale in the counter-clockwise direction)60 minute counter at 10 o’clock, over 144° (retrograde hand, scale in the clockwise direction) What a classic and beautiful design. 42mm case with an elegant dial. |

The post above was sent to me by a member of another forum that caters to JS/Slopnbc and posted by none other than snbc host JS!... I couldn't believe the BS that this supposed expert is spewing!!! Not only did Tim Temple have the Only working Model of this new ETA Retrograde months ago on his show He also had the packet that all Basel attendees who were invited to the ETA G15-261 Premier on his Show!... and reported here at 3T on April 9,2006!.....and Then Glen(nrg) posted Pics of his Tissot Dual retrograde here on this Forum!!!When are WIS going to learn that JS is nothing but BS!!! I honestly feel bad for the good members of that forum who have to listen to this type of BS and even worse for the newbies who believe Him!!!!!...and JS called 3T the Forum that is known for posting unfactual material!![]() http://www.timetechtalk.com/view_topic.php?id=3450&forum_id=2&highlight=dual+retrograde http://www.timetechtalk.com/view_topic.php?id=2168&forum_id=14 |

Yeh, but per Corona Gorda...................we are not a factual forum! I guess, with his ego, it's not true until he says it is!!!! What a DUFUS! Rumor on another forum (that's not known for factual information) is that Watch Commander is teaming up with Tim Temple on Tim's new shows. ........................................_________________ Your friendly, neighborhood watch man ![]() |

I was wondering what happened to the Watch Commander since I looked at CSN and he was gone and two goobers were trying to sell off every watch they had... Of course, we now know nothing happened with TT as his show seems to have never materialized. Pax Last edited on Fri Sep 22nd, 2006 11:33 am by Paxman |

I think the entire group over there are full of S**t. A watch designer can make a watch with steel, brass, the jewels, seals needed, a crystal blank and the tools lathe, press and digital R3 map. Take the Short cut of using manufactured screws and clasp are always nice, but I digress. Him calling himself a designer and not knowing how to make a watch is funny. Consultants give opinions or feed back on a design. Consultants can not make a watch. As far as the current BS that is typical BS from the uneducated. |

Tim's show is on track at SAH. Obviously the show dates that were given were not correct. Someone had bad info at SAH. I'm not at liberty to say when the first show will be. It will be relatively soon. Tim has been in town for the past week, I was at his place last night doing some recording and he gave me the low down. The SAH watch program will be happening. The Watch Commander will be there as well. As far as the show being on Dish Network, it looks like we may be out of luck. There is a dispute there, and it doesn't look like it will be resolved in the near future. It is really exciting to hear about all brands that they will have there. I'm just bummed that I won't be there with him. That's all the news I have for now. Thanks for the update on TT & SAH. Oy, I am sorry that I passed on that information/schedule from SAH and that some folks were disappointed. I haven't received a reply with re: an updated schedule... now I understand why - it's under wraps I take it. As for the upcoming shows ... they're going to be GREAT! And worth the wait, IMHO. Jims latest post in the BS thread at the other forum! This just gets my Goat....typical of a true narcisist Taking credit away from Glen as far as photo styling!!JS knows all of us here very well and He also knows we know what a POC he really is! more than my 2 cents worth!Although it looks like the photo styling I have used for a few years, it is not my photo. It belongs to a guy who uses the handle NRG on other forums. It's a well photographed piece and worthy of pushing someone over the edge. I have seen other pics of the watch and thought it was just downright ugly (and I suspect I may feel the same in person) but NRG's photo makes it look terrific. _________________ Your friendly, neighborhood watch man |

WTF!! If everyone hates this guy and his forum why do you always bring stuff from there here?? I thought this would be a great place to hang out but it has become obvious that you guys do NOT have your own forum. You live vicariosly through others. I have never seen a 'so-called 'watch forum spend so much time on others and so little time on horology. Back to where I came from I guess. You had potential but this is just another TV embedded forum. You guys need to find AD's. PS From what I garner here- you guys have as much lipstick on this Temple guys ass as they do on Skeltons!! |

You shouldn't let such trivial things concern you. I certainly don't. I don't know what the Kool Aid reference refers to but if it is TZ then so be it. I enjoy Kool Aid on a hot day and I am sure that you would too! It just seems as if this place has a lot of potential and good members who truly care about watches. And then ,of course, there is you-the irrationally obsessed with transgressions that do not remotely concern you- person!! You will be glad to know that I'll not be back to this poor excuse for a watch forum. Enjoy your excercise in negativity |

Now Oscar, you may be a hard on the guy. Considering his background and previous professions?? I think he has come a long way. After all he has gone from, did you rewind the tape to I designed this watch. This in itself would be difficult for most people. He is not only a certified gemologist, watchmaker and general all around expert, but, has done it all in a couple of months. I think sheer jealousy has overtaken some of us as we know deep down that we could never hope to do the tings that he's done. I mean that sincerely. How many of us could do what he has. The guy brings this on himself. If he would stop with this unbelieveable BS and at least try and act honest I think people would leave him along. He treats people as if they are all idiots and are willing to believe whatever stories he chooses. I can't imagine that even those other less fortunates at the other forum really believe what they are being told. They can not be that dumb. I think that is more of a case that they need to believe that their "buddy" is not taking advantage of them. O.A. Gaspar wrote: RandyG wrote: |
