I do think it is much better than anything else they are selling. I'm glad that they have toned down the logo from other watches they have. I am tempted to get one, but, I know the price will go down in a couple of months. I hope they sell a bunch of these as it may be them some intentive to start making so more serious types of timepieces. I did have to crack up when Eyal said "Do you know how much the original SubAqua are selling for now?". LOL:D Maybe someone should tell him they have been selling for $350 to $600. At least he seems to have calmed down a bit.

Hey, at $350 for the original, I might even get one and break my self imposed $200 rule.:D

I have had 2 of 'em, both IMHO were poorly made crap!! Both have been returned to SNBC after non=productive calls to the VP Office. Rotor wheel problems, chronograph non-functional, date wheel non-functional, Crown Protector loose and floppy...Plus the band needed 1/2 links to get it sized properly! Call me crazy, but I am going to try again as I absolutely LOVE the look of the watch..BUT if it is problematic again, it goes back again!!

I don't blame you. A lot of people had problems with the batches that were released a year after the original batch. Most of them had the same problems you're talking about. That is the reason you could have got them so cheap on eBay. If I was you I would wait for the price to come down to $999 or less.

Sorry BUT I liked the watch and a 7750 is a heck of a motor !! But at a grand or more NO WAY !!! To many other watches in that range I would rather have IMO .

I was really drawn to the big chunky look and all the cool stuff that is going on with this piece...if folks know of something as 'Cool' as the SAII please direct me to it!! Also, should the 7750 movement stop running when on a winder?? That was another problem, the rotor hung up and the watch stopped. I am hoping third times the charm with the SAII....I sure would like to find a SAI at that $500 price point...anybody???
Thanks!!

The OG LE is the one they should reissue.

I had one, sent it back. Noisy rotor, had read a lot about problems. No sense in pushing my luck. I'll wait for another one I can trust more. Maybe I'll get one at the end of the run, hoping they will have worked out the bugs. I liked it, and it wore well for such a monster of a watch, but they should have taken more time than the three years they supposedly spent developing the thing.

If you simply say "Invicta", that really says it all!

I thought the watch was nice enough...and it allegedly sold out at $599.00

I was surprised that they did not use the gold plated 2824... At six hundred bucks I give it a B minus.

The new Grand Diver seems a nicer watch, but far too costly.  Really what the OG2 should have been in the first place..I doubt I'll be getting a Grand Diver 'til it dips below $150 next Christmas time.  Invicta is definitely attempting to biggie their prices into the next tier ....Could happen if they settle all the percieved qc/cs issues.  Looks like the old pro diver series are going away.

Let's see. Which one do I want--the $600 SA2 with a 2824, or the $590 Accutron Gemini with the Valjoux 7750. :D
