tried to size the bracelet on my raymond weil last night. it has screwed links. I broke 2 of my snap-on mini screwdrivers and no luck in budging them. Take it back to the Ad and have them do it? or is there some way to loosen the loctite thats in there?
since the jeweler broke the pins,it solved my delima about getting the hammy:D
they dropped the watch in water to soften up the loctite, had the watch fully under the water. when he started to work on it, moisture condensed under the crystal. these people are stupid! never put a 30m watch in a steamer. the screwed pins still snapped off at the threads! So the hammy was mine at a really good price.
I am sorry to hear a professional did such damage to your watch. A jeweler should know better but many people use those non-magnetic screwdrivers that you would use for computer work and they just aren't strong enough for watch bracelets.
