The hardest part of getting a new watch for me is the waiting.mistake.gif  My close 2nd is finding the right strap/bracelet.

I recently broke the ceiling on watch cost for me with a purchase that breaks my $500 rule.  I'm chalking it up to several factors 1) inflation:shock:, 2) shipping & handling charges;), and 3) a really good deal:cool:

Such problems, perhaps getting new watches should stop?subtlelaugh.gif

What's the hardest part of getting a new watch for other folks?

The waiting no longer bothers me. The stupid thing I worry about is whether or not the dial and hands will glow well in the dark. And, whether it will work on arrival. cat28.gif

For me, it's that the new wears off so quickly and I'm left with this compelling need for another "fix" much too soon for my wallet! And there always seems to be this new picture on the "enablers" forum that starts that itch!!!

Hey, I have had the pleasure of enabling Ken as I recall.  Doesn't he own a 9g-600?  Ken did you ever buy that $39 Gruen 2824-2?  Now, if I could only find that Shangri-La called TJMaxx........:shock:

BTW - All I can say is that I am a little PO'd that Monday is a USPS Holiday!  I won't be getting my new ....{line dead}

I have a pretty good idea about what's going on witrh DOC...

I don't want anything to be hard about getting my next watch. I will no longer chase Fed Ex trucks, accost mail carriers sleeping in their truck, or demand entrance to airport cargo areas.

Just a few easy purchases...

The hardes part is watching everyone else making great buys and laying back...

Ah.....back online.:cool:

I bought a Mido Multifort Automatic Chronograph

from Canadajo.  (His Pic)  Oddly, I had looked at one a while back and thought about buying one (at $1195) and then came to my senses.  I was looking at them online again on Wednesday as I recall - did a Google search - and the sales forum here and at WUS came up!  Wow.  So, I asked questions and 3 minutes later went ahead and committed to buying.  So much for restraint:shock:

Despite the PO loading dock being 100 yards from the clinic - I won't go to the PO and see if its there...I won't...I won't......
