Actually they are very handy to have near your "real" watches ... I got an atomic clock radio for X-mas from Pax and I use it every day to set and check the accuracy of my watches
I use the online Official USA Time to set my baby-Breitling Eta 251.262 and then go by it for a few days. Its never off when I reset it periodically but I check it just in case.
I know a man who loves his waveceptor but he also says there are a host of things which will block reception(OK that is an exaggeration) But from what he said it seems like a pain . I have an atomic watch and had to set it to mountain time to set the time correctly.I am actually in the central zone.It seems to me it is easier to simply wear a good analog quartz watch when traveling and reset it when your plane lands according to the clocks in the airport.
