Interesting... that would explain why there are about 800 or so less diver watches on the bay right now...  :(:X:shock:

In the past, I know I have complained to ebay about shill bidding on his site. It was not too hard to figure out. That's why I won't buy anything now from anyone with the Bidder one, Bidder two crap.

A guy I used to buy from in Germany got booted recently also. Another guy I also bought from was doing the shill bidding thing with Pokey and two others from Singapore. Or, at least the same person was repeatedly bidding on all the lowend items until the price ran up. Then he quit. I followed his feedback and he was doing the same thing on three other Watch sites. Now you can't track this crap as easily.

BTW, two of these watch sellers have gone off only to come back a week or two later. One was for forgetting to pay for his yearly domain name fees and the other guy I have no clue.

I hope he comes back. I bought 3 watches from him over a 2 year period and the prices were great. His last sale was on feb. 24th.

I bought from him also and always got pretty damn good deals.  BM on SS for $112 shipped, 007 on jubilee for $78 shipped and a couple of others.  And even when my BM arrived with a problem, he exchanged it without question!

I've bought a couple from Pokemonyu as well.  Great price and his feedback was like 99.9%.

Same here, I just got my Citizen auto diver from him a few weeks ago, plus a couple Seikos.

Watches59 is still up, but his prices are higher. :X

SCWF had a thread on this topic. Most felt that both have gotten' busted by EBay for "shill"  bidding on items.

They also assume they will be back under different names.

If they did then shouldn't shopnbc get whacked also?

I have been watching the bidding on there items for about a month now since our previous post on the subject. Every  watch was sold for almost there site price. I can't believe people are that stupid.

I sent an email to Poke...

Due to a glitch in our turbo lister, our listing was over summiting listings to Ebay main server causing the Ebay sites to be flooded with our listing.

We are now working with Ebay to solve the problem via Ebay Singapore office.
We are still in business and shall fully commit to deliver all items to our customers whom have already paid us.

Please email us again if you need further clarification.

I hope he comes back as well... I just bought my first watch from him and I'd probably buy a few more in the future if he comes back.  Although I do agree, it's hard to wait two weeks to get a watch

It's called "Auction Fever". I've stood next to respected heart surgeons at a "farm auction" bidding three times what a plain old antique pine chair was worth.
