Seiko for me. I don't care for the rubber strap. I'm also guessing the Glycine would be a larger case size by the looks of it. The Seiko most likely would have the brighter luminous material. The bracelet would no doubt be very comfortable to wear and I'm not sure I go for the rotating bezel on the inside of the dial on the Glycine.

Christian....I own 2 Glycines, a vintage 1964 Airman that has been through hell and back and a new Glycine Airman 2000. The vintage is running every bit as well today as it did in 1964. I have held the Seiko MM and even worn one for a few days as it passed thru me on its way to Greece. It is a very solid, well built watch, but from and aesthetics standpoint, is not much different than any other Seiko Diver. Bottom line....go for the Glycine! BTW, have you seen the brand new Glycine Combat Sub Automatic...it is a beauty!

Christian I am in the Glycine camp. Speak with Beth C. at World Lux where you cribbed the photo and you might be pleasantly surprised at what she can do for you. Tell her I sent you and you'll get nothing extra!! She'll remeber me fromt he Alpina I purchased from her...

I think it depends how much variety you like. The Marinemaster is similar to the black Sumo you already have, but the Glycine is more unique. Personally I like variety so I'd go with the Glycine but on a bracelet (its always harder to buy a bracelet than a rubber strap later on). Good luck - they are both beauties!

The SEIKO Marinemaster is my choice. I've had a few Glycine watches before and for some reason they didn't stay longer on my wrist nor my watch box:( Goodluck on your decision...

I'd prefer the Glycine. Like that dial. But you need a wrist that can wear the Glycine, because its really huge (otherwise I'd already have one - but it's too big).

I am not familiar with Glycine (other than seeing pics of members' watches) but if I had the $$$ a Marine Master (along with a Flightmaster) would be on its way to me from Japan! Other than Russians and half a dozen Swiss divers, the majority of my collection is Seiko/Citizen. Tough choice Christian, but I think either way you will get a great watch hand6.gif Cheers, Griff
