It's a site much like woot.com, 1 item per day, sells until it's gone. Today is an Accutron VX-200 3 hand automatic. They don't say which movement other than it's a swiss 25 jewel automatic. Their chronograph movement has a valjoux 7750, so I assume this is an ETA also. Sapphire crystal, and about 43mm diameter. It's $290 + $10 shipping I think. They're going on ebay for about $400, so the price seems right. 3 different colors available.
Happy hunting!

Thanks for the tip. I just bought a black dial/black bezel version. That is a lot of watch for $250!!!!

Wear the VX-200 for the sleek value of attractive function. This hot Valjoux automatic sits in solid steel performance on your wrist and exhibits the fine function through sapphire crystals on the front and the caseback. Luminous hands and markers point out the time and move around bold counters and the date display at 3. For your diving pleasures, you'll enjoy the unidirectional elapsed time bezel and the solid fold-over buckle/safety clasp with extender.

I HAD to jump on that.  That's more than a great price on a nice, Swiss made watch with a GREAT bracelet.

...okay, NO MORE watches until after the holidays.  Seriously.

How can you go wrong on this watch? Sapphire crystal, Swiss movement, gorgeous bracelet, Tissot-like bezel, nice looking dial, etc. Amazing deal for $250.

I bought one!

I am glad I didn't spring for the one I had in my hand at the Bulova outlet this summer.

They wanted $599.

It has a 2824 in it, by the way....not a Valjoux.

It is really hard to find accurate descriptions on watches posted online. Most everywhere I looked there was no info on the movement. One site claimed Valjoux. One site said it was 45mm and 45mm thick (which would be pretty tall). Another said 42mm. Bulova gives no such info.

42 mm sounds about right...maybe 41.

The chrono might be 45, but I can't say for sure...I have never handled one.

The bracelet is a work of art...you're going to love it.

I'm just going on my memory of the watch from the outlet store.

45mm is cool with me.

Doesn't Pax or CJ own one of these?

I"m sooo glad you all were able to jump on this! I only regret that I couldn't pick one up myself.

Enjoy all, I can live vicariously through your pics;)

Shnoop.com is just a knockoff of woot.com, but they often have a better quality of watch when one comes up. I check both sites every morning as soon as I get up.

That's the one I ordered. Yes, the watch does remind me of my Tissot 1000 (so what) but what I'm really looking forward to is handling that bracelet. hand6.gif

This may be our last chance at a Swiss Made Accutron. I just read that Citizen Holdings is buying Bulova which includes Accutron, Caravelle, and Whittnauer from the Loews Corp. How long before Accutrons have Myota movements?

Sorry to hear that, Foster. I hope the warranty will take care of it for you. I assume it came with a card or papers?

Should be a good number of these landing next week. Let'sw hope this is the exception and not the rule. I've never used Schnoop before and its a bit of a bummer they don't take returns on defective merchandise.

Good luck to you and please keep us posted.

It did come with the card and all papers...nothing was stamped though.

The Shnoop site says they will do "everything they can" to help with warranty issues.

I emailed them today....I'll probably have to wait until tomorrow to see what they say.

How do I return a defective product? Even if an item is found somehow to be defective (highly unlikely), please email our support team for assistance. We will do our best to assist you with contacting the manufacturer and exercising the warranty (if applicable). When contacting us, make sure you include your order number and the name of product you are experiencing trouble with. We know we are smart but we're not psychics so we won't know based on yours email address what your problem is. All sales are final on clothing and non-electronic items. We do make exceptions in certain circumstances, and will accept returns for either a replacement, or if necessary, a refund.

In most states, a product that arrives DOA is not a warranty issue...it is a seller issue in that the product delivered is not as promised.  It is returnable!

Uh oh!  DOA?  I don't like the sound of that.  I ordered the red/black bezel and I hope there is not a reason why the price is so low on these.mistake.gif

But with internet purchases, the question is always: exactly how 'returnable'? IOW, how many times do you have to ship a defective product back and forth across the country before you are satisfied? That inconvenience might be what some online sellers are counting on to discourage you from returning it and to take it to a local watchmaker, at your expense, instead.

(I once had to ship a suede leather jacket back and forth to Orvis 7 times before the problem was corrected! Luckily, for me, Orvis has outstanding customer service and the shipping was all at their expense....but the time it took...:( )

I am happy to report that two emails and one week later, I have a pristine replacement on my wrist right now.

Looks like Shnoop has good CS to go along with the good deals.
