Givin' this old girl a whirl today - dusted her off, set the time, day and date and she started to run like a champion. Needs regulation, though - I have lost over a minute in just under 8 hours...

She was made in the days when men were men, women were women, and "falsies" meant teeth :D

She is a Seiko 17j Bellmatic in 42mm case with a nice buzzer. Seller's pic from a good year or so ago on the bay (that is not my hand and camera reflected in the case!). IRL the blue is quite stunning. No wrist shots - I have to rectify that, sorry.

Have a good day 3T! IanM hand6.gif

The Bellmatic is very good, Ian. If i can find mine, I'll post it. The one on this post is 10X in better condition than mine, though;)

If you're losing a lot out of the box in just 8 hours, give it a few days or a week of constant wear/shaking. The loss will correct itself somewhat.yourock.gif

Thanks BRP - I will try that, cos it gets so little wear these days, and Bellmatics are such nice watches IMHO. And your Seiko looks great on the perforated strap! Cheers and thanks for the heads up! IanM hand6.gif
