I think I'll give my vintage Glycine Airman an outing today...........one owner, bought new at the Munich PX in 1965! It has been greatly abused and still runs like a champ....original AS1701 movement. Original SS bracelet lies somewhere on a jungle floor near Quan Loi!![]() |

Thats a cool story about your 24 hour watch. I don't think I've ever seen that movement. It sounds like a great one. All I see now are the russian model 24 hours moevements. Its a shame A Shield is long gone. I had one of their alarms that I used climbing for several years. Kent |

Quite frankly, it runs so well, I'm afraid to have it serviced. Still has the original acrylic crystal....although it has been polished out a few times! |
