My Accutron Astronaut LE #306/1000 landed safe and sound today and it is Awesome!hand6.gif....42mm by 12.35mm by my measurements,domed sapphire crystal,exhibition back with custom rotor and half caseback signed "Buz Aldrin",independantly set GMT hand,2893-2 eta,Swiss Made,....sweet bracelet with unique lugs and it came in a LE box with a NASA commenorative pin/card....all in all a Awesome Timepiece imhoyourock.gif![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Question: Why does the Accutron VX200, without GMT, have a 25-jewel movement, while the Astronaut, with GMT, has a 21-jewel movement? I am new to this, but logic would seem to dictate that the more complex GMT movement would require more jewels. And the answer is...
