This is one my my favorite if not my favorite Chrono watch maker of this day and age. George J vonBurg is a awesome watch maker and his Chrono's IMHO are up there with the best of them today.

Here are the specs on this baby. It is a limited edition of 100.

Movement: Swiss Automatic Chronograph
Mfg. and Caliber of Movement: Valjoux 7751
Crystal: Curved Sapphire Crystal
Case Material: 316L Stainless Steel
Case Diameter: 40mm
Caseback: Exhibition Caseback w/ Sapphire Crystal
Calendar: Month, Day window at 12 o'clock, Date Hand points to date on outer dial
Water Resistant Depth: 100 meters | 330 feet
Clasp Type: Tang Buckle
Additional Features: True Moonphase
Hand-made Crocodile Strap

Came in a nice inner and outer box. It is as stated a true moonphase. The lume on these is very good. And the awesome 7751 is one of the best movements you can get on the market as far as I am concerned to. The 7750 is great this is better.

Skip, that is one SWEET watch.  I was eyeballing that one also.  Its tractor season though and the $ for watches has been re-allocated for the big iron.

Thanks Scott. Most of my cousins on Mom's side of the family are good ol' country boys so I can relate to and understand that. ;)

Thanks guys. Yea a George J vonBurg is something nice to own. Even when not a limited edition. For he only makes so many a quasi-limited production and he makes no more of that one configuration of watch. ;)

That is the date set button...very similar to the Val7753 movement.  To change the date, one merely takes a pointed object (like a ball point pen) and pushes in!

Thanks Tony. I heard mention of this coming last summer so it's been a nice wait and then JTV drug it out for a bit. But worth the wait for sure. ;)

If for some crazy reason another 7751 at a great price is still hanging around come June I may bite there too. But a awesome watch for sure. :)

Thanks Steve. Moonphase was rather simple. Had it down in about a minute. ;)
