I was able to get a good deal on a titanium Eco-Zilla and could not pass it up.  I already had the SS Zilla and it had been a great watch so what else could I do.  Here are some  pics:

Two Zillas:

Zillas and Triton:

The titanium Zilla is really very nice to wear.  Much lighter than a steel watch.  The lume is outstanding and the dial is easily read.  I have ordered a set of Walt's adapters that will accomodate a Zilla strap.  With the light weight of the Ti model , it ought to wear well on a Zulu...I hope.

Thanks for looking.

Thanks for the kind words guys.

Oscar, I have ordered the adapters from Walt but don't have them yet.  For now, when I get the adaptors, I'm just going to try a Zulu strap on it, but may spring for something different later on.

Congratulations Tony.  I've never been inspirational before.  Did you get your watch from the Ebay source you mentioned?  Are you going to get some of Walt's adaptors?  I have a pair on the way that I'll try with a Zulu.

Love your lume shot.

Bill

thankyou.gif Bill, yes snagged this one for a very good price off the 'bay. Pretty much mint condition. I have e-mailed Walt for some adapters, but have not heard back from him yet. Did you order the bead blasted finish? I do find the stock strap comfortable though a bit ugly:D the  dual tang buckle rocks though.  I really think the automatic will be a must have for me down the road.

Such a sweet watch. Let me know how the adapters work out Bill.

Yes, I ordered the bead blaster adaptors.  My strap is quite stiff and I'm not wild about it.  As for ugly, well, I was made for ugly.

You said you might want the auto Zilla at some point.  Have you heard anything about the Zillas being discontinued?  I have checked on some sites that used to carry them...but no more.

Yes, I think the secondary market is the only way to get them.

You are inspirational! I have a steel Zilla and it seems like I wear it all weekend every weekend. I was thinking about adding a Ti and now just might have to do it.

I have three Ecozillas, two in SS and one in Ti. Ever since I got'em they've all but assumed total control of my wrist. My other watches sit in their sleep or ever vigilantly, but there's no respite from Zillaitis on the horizon.

One of the SS sits on my wrist as I type this, mounted proudly on a Watchadoo and Walter's adapters. The Ti 'Zilla also sits atop Walter's adapters, but wearing a Zulu 24mm. My other SS 'Zilla in LNIB condition is stored away for a rainy day...

The Ti Zilla/Zulu combo is extremely comfy and after a long 14-16 hour day I can hardly say it's there. Interesting thing though, is that the SS/Watchadoo is no less comfortable to wear although it does make itself known in the end of the day. To wit, I tried the SS on its original straps and with Zulus (both two-ring 24mm and 22mm four-ringers) and it didn't find a secure home on my wrist until I set it up as it is today. My Ti Zilla went the Walter route as soon as it arrived and that was all there was to it – I didn't even try it once with its original shoes on!

Speaking of shoes, I've already secured a pair of Enzos' and a modified McMorrin' Ted Su's for my Zillas. Taking into account that as of right now I've set my sights on an Autozilla I'll soon have a full stable of them sweet overgrown gargantuan beasts vying for attention and wrist time; IOW my dear fellows, WIS BLISS.

My sincerest congrats go to everyone who has one, irrespective of version or modification. ZILLAS RULE!!!

Hey Marcello,

You do have a stable of Zillas.  I have a pair of the solid adapters on order from Walt.  I plan to use a Zulu on my Ti watch too.  It seems like that would be a good combination given the Ti version's light weight.

My SS Zilla is on the original Citizens bracelet and is quite comfortable.

Mr. Bill

Hello Bill, and thanks for the kind words!

One interesting tidbit about Walter's adapters and my using them is that I'm actually wearing my Ti 'Zilla on his OLDER style (with a bead blasted finish and a generally rougher look) instead of his newer/present version of which I have two unused pairs in storage; IMHO the older style makes for a much more handsome combo inasmuch the rougher darker look of the adapters do match the Ti much better. OTOH, the opposite is true for the SS 'Zillas.
Be as it may, in one thing I won't budge a miserable iota: ZILLAS RULE!!! yourock.gif

PS: I can't forget to mention that you'll find dealing with Walt a most pleasant experience; just give him some time to answer your e-mails and you'll be swell.
