Picked up a sweet pair of Epos Sophistiqees' Swiss Made watches through a very good WIS buddy! thankyou.gif...1st one is a beautifully guilocheted dial Grand Verticale Big Date with fully decorated handcranker based on a Venus SA engine, saph crystals frt./bk. and crown at the 12!hand6.gif

....and the 2nd is a Semi Skeleton hand guillocheted dial and fully decorated engraved skeletonized Unitas 6497! and a very unique 1 hander....both are 41.5mm and simply Elegant imo!hand6.gif

...I'll get some pics of the movements up asap...I really like this pair and am amazed at the Awesome craftsmanship of Epos!yahoo.gif

Ty Huckyhand6.gif...they are both very unique and the complications are Awesome...the vertical big date with seconds at the 3 and crown at 12 is a reworked Unitas with guillochet and furnace blued screws that is a knockout to look watch2.gif at and the semi Skel with the 1 hander is beautifully skeletonized w/furnace blued screws and awesome engraving....took a bit of time to get used to telling time with only one hand but get's easier each time I wear it!yahoo.gif

Thanks

Just beautiful,  O!:D The bid date complication is awesome and the skeletonized one hander is a marvel. Looking forward to seeing more detailed shots of the movements.

Very nice, Patron!

My guess is you can not tell the time down to the minute, but you can get to the every 5 minutes by each little mark the hand gets to past the hour?

To me it looks like you can tell time down to the 1/2 minute...or damn close to it!

TY everyone!...I am enjoying these and they have each found their way onto different exotic straps!hand6.gif

....to tell time is prettty easy.....the time in the pic of the 1 hander is aproximately 10:08 ....the round markers are hours 1,2,3,4 etc. and the longer indices are 15 min. markers making the smaller indices in between 5 min. markers...so at a glance one can tell time to within about a 1-2 min. accuracy watch2.gif

I love the single handed. I'm often tempted by them when I see one I like. But haven't dived in yet.

Very true. Those beauties aren't designed for timing a track meet, they're designed for making a statement!
