The new Dievas Aqualuna arrived with a huge splash as it is an absolutely stunning dive watch imho and what has become expected from Anders with his most recent creations!....TY Anders! thankyou.gif

This watch is massive yet very comfortable on the wrist....a Swiss Made diver at under $1000. is very uncommon and the Aqualuna exceeds all expectations from the beautiful deepset blue dial which I chose to the awesome presentation and new Dievas packaging!...perfect.gif
Thick saph crystal with multiple layers of AR coating, eta 2824 which winds smoothly as the second hand just glides across the dial, lume is super, super bright although I was a bit disappointed it was not blue as advertised but I can live with it hand6.gif

Sizing the bracelet which is quite thick and substantial was a breeze with the single screw application and the sweet studded bezel operates smoothly and locks firmly in place, fit and finish is impecable, even on this overcast, rainy day it photographed wonderfully
...all said the Dievas Aqualuna is a winner imo and a watch that will be a keeper  and enjoyed for years to come! yahoo.gif

Great shots Oscar!!  Did Anders give you any info as to why the lume looks green around the ring instead of blue like in his pictures of the Aqualuna?  The blue lume is what really first caught my eye on the Aqualuna, so I'd be curious to know.

Awesome!!!  Does that inner bezel turn?  I'm a bit confused by the orange ring...is that for decoration?

Awesome pictures Oscar! I am glad you like also the new packaging. We spent a lot of time designing them.

There is no internal bezel. Why the luminous ring around? You see there is not many arabic numbers on the dial. So we need  luminous ring so you can tell the time when diving or in the dark.

As for the luminous, there was some issues. Initially we bought both green and blue luminous. We tried both. But everyone at Dievas likes green more. So we chose green. We asked a few dealers and friends in our shops here, and they think green is better too. Because it sort of brings out more of the vintage feel.

Awesome awesome pictures once again Oscar. Thank You.

You know Oscar, the more I look at the Aqualuna, the more it grows on me. I do wish it had the blue lume, but green is cool too. If you ever get the chance, let us know how long the lume lasts throughout the night; the current champ is the Boschett Cave Dweller, but the Aqualuna looks like it might be able to compete.

TY...the C-3 green is awesome and I believe the AR coating that gives off this very intense shade of violet  like black light in the right lighting may cause the blue lume look...and Bloom I will test the lume longevity  but am pretty sure it will last all night...TY Anders for a sweet watch to take pics of and the kind words hand6.gif

I'll second what Anders said!  The Kevlomposite strap with the TedSu clasp really looks terrific!
