I wanted a watch where the whole dial was luminous, if for no other reason than it would be helpful at work. This one appealed to me and was a bargain too. I have never liked the quartz units where the dial was lighted by an led and then quickly went off a few seconds after the button was pushed. I'm a theatre manager and often need to check the time in the dark theatre or back stage during the show. SHADY wrote: what do you do at nite that require such a dial???
