Thank you jdmac. This is the info I got for this PW.

It is a private label from a famous jewelry storein Chicago. Here is and actual business card of the time.

The watch is a size 10 with 17 jewels. It was made around 1902-1910.

Adjusted

I have many more and will post them if you and others want to see more.

We should realy have a vintage section in this forum even though the name timeTECHtalk does not lend itself for vintage talkinggoofy, but it would be very nice. Like it here with all your crazy people:P and will be posting more here.

Regards

omegaman - thats more than beautiful - it is a fully decorated movement with what looks to be a porcelain dial with scroll hands and with subseconds at 6 - what a beauty! I do not collect PWs, but this sort of post makes me appreciate the works of art that are PW movements of the day.

As already mentioned - very elegant and a true mark of the person wearing it at the turn of the century (or collecting it today). Classical - wow.

It also looks like the native Chicago watchmakers of the day spoke a different type of English, too - that business card is a great reminder of its history !!

Use it in good health and post away - it if tells time - I bet we are interested!
