Got this BNIB TSAR today in trade for partial payment on another watch  Thumbsup3.gif

BUT, because of my "Hucky" disease had to trade it for a BNIB JSARparty.gif

Set a new personal record for a flip, two hours!!!!

Gotta decipher the different models TSAR,  JSAR,  tubes, not tubes, mechanical, quartz, bracelet, strap. mistake.gif

I think this is all correct, I'm sure if I'm off someone will correct me....

SAR - Search & Air Rescue

Original SAR - ETA 2824 movement, 41mm

GSAR - Government SAR, originally made for the US government and then the Canadian government, ETA 2824 movement, with Tritium tubes, 41mm

CSAR - Chronograph SAR, Valjoux 7750 movement, 47mm

TSAR - Tritium SAR, same as GSAR but with ISA High Torque Quartz movement, 41mm

JSAR - Jumbo SAR, ETA High Torque Quartz movement, 47mm

As soon as I get my J I'm going to send it out and get a 2824 movement put in it....from what I have read it is a perfect fit.

Ahhh, thanks.  Looks like the TSAR is the one for me.  Too bad you didnt put that one up on the forum.  Oh wait, I dont have any cash right now anyway. :?  Have to do with my look a like Dievas Mesopelagic.
