My Marathon JSAR arrived today...another HUGE diver.

This is a Nov 2007 issue with a heavy rubber strap.

Going to wear it for a few days and send it off to have the quartz movement replaced with a 2824-2 movement.

Nick I am jealous.  I could not pull it off.  I waited 2 months for the JSAR to come out, then had waited 3 extra months to get one.  I had to let it go.  Marathon made it big and bad...hand6.gif   I had mine on a Ted Su Kevlar & Big Buckle.

Buddy enjoy it.........ThumbsUp02.gif

Congrats Nick! yourock.gif...I look forward to seeing the conversion and really need to get me one of those...I would be happy with the precision quartz that comes in it....how about a side by side with the CX 12,000ft.yahoo.gif

If you're looking for leather, I'd look to Paul at ORB Straps or Jeanna at Stone Creek to make something "special" for it.  They could also do a 24mm or 26mm and "notch" it at the lugs to make those 22mm lugs carry that 47mm head a little better!  jmho, but I think a watch that size should have 24mm to 26mm lugs to carry the look!

My Kevlar was 24mm, but notched down to a 22mm.  I have to say the 24mm looked real good.

I agree with you Ken, I was playing around with 24mm and 26mm straps today.....22mm lugs are just small for this size watch...but that said the CX 12000 footer is 22mm too....go figure mistake.gif

I too am interested in your jsar conversion. And I got a 22mm/24mm strap from paul for my nav b and it is perfect, the notches are very precise, great quality work.

Congrats on the JSAR, I love mine and it gets a lot of looks. I really like the Marathon bracelet... It really adds to the heft of the whole watch and feels great on the wrist. They're not cheap, but sure builds on the tank's presence! (IMHO)
