I was pleasently surprised when I opened the "Yellow Box" today. I think this is a very attractive and classy reissue of the original Executive. If you're into decorated movements though you will want to pass on this watch. The new Executives come with a plain undecorated Unitas movement. For me though I wear my watch with the dial facing outward to read time not look at the movement :):). Fit and finish is par for the course to the original Executives and is the same case design and look. I wish they would've spent the extra $20 on a sapphire crystal but oh well. I ordered one in each color so I will post other pics of those watches when I receive them which should be this week.

Glen............your picture is fantastic and, I must admit, the dial is much more attractive than I had thought from other crude pictures I had seen.  It is still a little busy and still more fashion forward than the classic look of the old model, nut, very nice, nevertheless!:dude:

The picture is awesome (again). The watch looks very good. I am surpised to hear that the movement is plain. How plain is it? I know I'd at least want the level of decoration that is in my Trias Backgammon for an extra $100. A picture of the back sometime would be fantastic. :dude:

They would have been better off to make it with an SS non-see-thru back.  It would have looked better than a totally unfinished movement, and it would not have reinforced how greedy they are!

No offense, NRG, but that undecorated movement is butt ugly. What were they thinking? Just bizarre.

No question about it: That pic of the dial is better than magazine quality. Just a genius pic.

Wow! Thanks for the picture of the movement. You weren't kidding. That puppy is plain. I don't understand why they put a see-through back on it. Like Ken said, I'd much rather have a nice polished SS back to match the rest of the case and design. Maybe glass is cheaper???

No Prob!! I think a solid case back would actually set this watch off nicely and make it a little beefier as well, not that it's not beefy enough. I'm sure that glass is cheaper but then he should've put sapphire on the front and back as well!!

The sapphire at that price would've been nice.............mineral on the back is of no concern (JMHO)  as it really is difficult to scratch especially on the back, but to encase a raw movement in plan view says one of two things.  He is either:

1) dirt cheap,or

2) ridiculously stupid!

You know how you could order a "normal" box for The Simpsons last two DVD sets if you hated the head-shaped boxes (http://www.simpsonsbox.com/)? Eyal should have a similar option for his watches. If you get an Invicta watch with a butt-ugly movement viewable through the exhibition case back, you can send him ten bucks and he'll send you a stainless case back as a replacement. :D

I think what you guys need is an Invicta case back option with a locket-type picture holder. That way you can have an autographed picture of Eyal there on your wrist for viewing right along with the butt-ugly movement. :D:D:D:D:D:D:D

Well, I guess what I said is kinda harsh. The picture of the Eyal might be Butt-Ugly. The movement is ok. Its just plain looking. :D:D:D
