I can say Boris ships immediately w/a tracking # and is very attentive to His customers.....I will post Pics and My opinion as soon as it Arrives...and Gregger....I think most of us would rather Score with Your Alba I've said this before but the further I distance Myself from Slop the Better the Deals and Watches ...not To Mention the CS/QC I receive from Vendors like Marc@IslandWatch and now Boris....It's nice to make stress-free Purchases imho

Vacation is going good.............In Dallas now as Suzan is a Mary Kay Director and is attending the annual convention.................off to Vero Beach and Disney World/seaworld on Sunday....

Funny thing about this watch....I never wore it and tried to sell it once for a mere $80.................now, maybe it's a keeper....mine is on a Rhino!

Also check the PMWC, they may still have all types available; slightly higher price and shipping, though.
THe orange dialed one is very impressive, as these Alba's are bigger and heavier than the Orange Monster.
Still, I prefer this orange Alba.

Okay guys, the SNZB23J is available from this same site @ $113:

http://seiko5ers.com/SNZB23J.htm

It is just like mine (pictured in this thread)......the only drawback is the SS bracelet has folded links, but it can be replaced and BTW, looks great on a Forcce Recon or NATO strap!

Wow, with a see thru-back! Now besides the NAME what is the diff. between the two? The alba is running $5.00 more. Wouldn't you think the name-brand watch would be the higher of the two? I know the inards are the same, what else?

Seiko5 and Alba are Both made by Seiko....Same Company ...Seiko5 is considered the Lower end of the Brand...the Seiko5 is only 38mm with a folded bracelet, and very light(i owned one)....the Alba is 45mm by 14mm thick with a Solid SS Bracelet and weighs 218grams....very Heavy and substantial :) Ihope this helps...the Alba is mush bigger and heavier...for $5 more I would grab an Alba which is a more substantial Watch imho Wow, with a see thru-back! What kind of coating is on the bezel? I have the invita 9669 that has a black ceramic coating. Is the alba the same?

Descriptions say it's PVD (what Invicta sometimes calls ionic plating); while providing some scratch resistance, this wouldn't be as tough as ceramic.

WOW!!!  I just recieved the green handed alba just this second. I have not even opened it yet. Today is SUNDAY, And it was delivered to my door! I just ordered this watch wed. night.!!! I don't get this kind of service from folks here in the states, Yet Boris is able to deliver within-4-days from hong kong with a GREAT price. Can't take pic's now due to my wife and kids went to N.Y. on a vacation and took the camera. I am astounished. (Did I spell that right?) Thanks guys for the info.

Yes, I've noticed that sellers from Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, and often from Russia, seem to be more diligent in their shipping than those from the U.S. I guess they value customers (or their money) more in Asia and Russia. Stuff from Asia (and some sellers in Russia) arrives in 3-8 days; stuff from sellers right here in the U.S. often takes 8-10 days.

The braclet is LONG. Had to take three links out. And I have a big wrist. Normally I'd take one link, maybe two on some. But never three. Awesome quality for the price, and Boris packages his watches great.
