I've been very happy with the Mido Multifort Auto Chrono that I got from CJ.  Its a great watch.  Well, recently someone approached me and asked if I might consider adopting its little brother.............

Stood in line at the USPS for what seemed like forever today (why does that guy who is selling used books always seem to have 100 packaged get ahead of me whenever I have a watch to pick up!?!)

Thanks Pax  for all the photos too!  Great watch and arrived in good shape!

CJ - Yes, I guess I am going to admit that I have found a Swiss maker that I like and find "affordable" in Mido.  I really appreciate them.  The Seikos are still some of the best buys around - and have terrific F&F - but until Seiko sees fit to sell their best in the US I guess I'll just have to struggle along with watches like the Midos;)

Tough struggle there Doc...  course a dram or two of that Macallan's would make it a lot easier to stomach... heh... hand6.gif

Yes, a dram of Macallan 1980 and a nice watch or two makes for a very nice way to sit and ponder...........
