They did everything right on that watch. It is the best looking Samurai there is (I Think). No black crown thank goodness. Great looking!cat28.gif

Good choice, I've had all 3 variants and althought the Blue is stunning, the Charcoal (can't really call it black) Sammy is just right.

Now just get rid of the bracelet and put it on a thick buffalo (mine's a Ginsler) and you'll be set.

The Bracelet is IMHO too angular and is a scratch magnet.

Congrats Steve!
It is a great watch, a definite favorite hand6.gif

In fact, I have mine on now :-)

Cheers,
Griff

P.S. I have to agree with the scratch magnet bracelet assessment though. The TSA did a number on mine when I went on vacation this year. Luckily I was able to get all but one deep scratch out of the clasp.

Steve,

Out of curiosity, what is the "perfect" strap you have in mind?  I am looking to put a strap on my black sammy, as well.  Just not sure what to go with, just yet.

Hi Chris... funny thing I wound up with the blue dial Sammy (the black one got lost in the mail) and it went so well with the bracelet I kept it on it, for now.  I do want to get a strap for it and probably go with  textured buffalo in dk blue... ;)

Steve,

That's cool.  Must have been meant to be, you and the blue.

I was thinking of a thick dark brown leather strap.  Something like what Enzo produces.  Except that his are 24mm and the Sammy is 22mm.  Any ideas where I can pick something like this up?
