I concur 1000% CJ. If not watching CNN or some other news I am on those channels mostly as well as the sports channels. I was very happy when NFL was added last year.

I enjoy watching racing, especially Formula 1 and GT stuff. Speed channel. I like when they do the camera in car view to get the sensation of speed (and vibration) I feel that NASCAR in particular does not translate well on TV.

Put my son in a Jr Kart program over the weekend at a new indoor place that just opened 5 miles from here. He is hooked. Even got my butt into a cart for a few laps. Wonder how much that will cost me going forward. Eat into my free cash flow for watches. Notice I don't say budget, because they seem to go astray when it comes to watches.

Very cool, Graham! I owuld love to get my son into karts in a few years time. Wait, he's 5 already... too late to become the next American F1 hero!!toon1.gif How old is your son? He looks right at home behind the wheel!

I have a feeling you might be stepping into a very expensive hobby!!face4.gif

Pax,

My son is 8 and can't wait to do more. He had a blast and learned a lot. Expensive? I'm scared to think. Gear, track time, instruction, all leading to an actual vehicle of some sort, then a rig to take it places...All I can hope is that it will make for a responsible driver on the road when he gets to that age and that we have some fun along the way. I sure had fun going around the track...
