I'm happy that people in DC will now be afforded the oppurtunity to protect themselves in a realistic manner. That is once they get the laws for licensing and everything else written. It'll be intersting to see how long it takes and what measures are instituted in the interim.

I understand that the mayor in DC is going to require registration. That's too bad. The mayor also said that semi-autos will still be illegal. I don't remember the supremes making that distinction. There are many municipalities in the Chicago area that will be none too happy with this ruling...that makes me happy.

Thank God! I'm a competition shooter with several thousand invested in my competition firearms. Hopefully a couple of the morons that voted against it will die/retire if McCain gets elected. If the other guy gets in lets pray they all live to be 100!
