There was one here in town yesterday so I went and checked it out. Sorry to say no watches other than a old Casio and a Timex. Just had no interest there.

But I did score a 20 to 25 year old lock back knive. A Schrade "Old Timer" at that for just $2. Had to clean it and the sheath up some and sharpen it but in very good shape. I had one like it as a kid about a inch shorter when I was about 14 but it went swimming off the boat while fishing.:(

Have you all ever score something good at a estate sale other than watches? If watches that is another thread in the Time Talk sub-fora.

Here is a pic of this nice find of mine. ;)

Not at an estate sale, but I have scored the odd item here and there. Pawn shop, gun show, yard sale etc. etc.

Yea I like to hit those places too. Missed the gun & knife show here in town this year. I was down with the flu. Bummer. :? I always love a good deal. :)

I Love gun shows. We have the worlds largest under one roof here. It was in town a couple of weeks ago and I got another pistol. I wouldn't say I got a great deal, but I believe it was a fair one in the fact that neither of us was trying to rape the other on price. I traded in one of my AR15s for a Glock and some cash.
