Last Friday, June 26th, We had a waterspout touch down in the St. Johns river. The following pictures were taken (some by some crazy folks, you'll see why) The first pic was taken from the 18th story of my company's downtown office... ![]() The next few were taken by someone either very brave or foolish, the verdict is still out ![]() It's a Twister, It's a Twister... ![]() Run Auntie Em, Run!! ![]() BTW- No major damage, but a lot of excitement. Very cool pictures of one of Mother Nature's amazing forces. I've witnessed a few water spouts while I was stationed at Hurlburt Field near Ft. Walton Beach in north Florida. They sure are fascinating to watch but can be very dangerous. Glad to hear that there was no damage. Have a great 4th of July weekend, cheers.![]() |
