Congrats to Ohio fams - condolences to Michigan fans........the best part about it was that the game lived up to it's hype!!!

And, of course, the Gators stomped poor little ol' Western Carolina 62-0...kind of an unfair matchup!

But the Arizona Wildcats, who started out to a miserable 3 and out season and are ranked somewhere in the 70's, have whipped 3 TOP 25 ranked teams in the last 3 weeks:   Washington State, California and, now, Oregon (sorry about your Ducks, James).  A win over Arizona State will take them from "3 and out" to 7/5............1st Bowl Game since 1998!

Great news about the 'Cats Ken. Nothing like a Z's pizza, a pitcher of import, and a great football game, eh?

Congrats to BOTH the Buckeyes and Wolverines... this was a great game for the ages and although the Bloods prevailed, I believe the Crypts proved they should be considered for a national title.

I am so glad the game actually lived up to its potential!!

this is why we need a playoff system !!!!! Michigan , Arkansas, Florida, USC , Notre Dame all have an argument.....Notre Dame and USC will play as well as Arkansas and Florida....but that will still leave 3 teams that should be able to play Ohio State....even Wisconsin has a weak argument....

Arkansas will lose it's argument when the Gators whip their butts in the SEC Championship game!  Michigan has already lost to Ohio!  USC may have an argument, but Wisconsin only has cheesesubtlelaugh.gif!........and the fact is, Notre Dame has no argument at all, year after year, they play a consistantly weak schedule and are constantly over rated in the polls due to nostalgia!

This years Notre Dame schedule..............ooooooooo/WOW!  Air Force, Army, Navy, N. Carolina, Purdue, Michigan St, Stanford, Penn State, UCLA.  Okay........I am ready for the flames!

I am curious to see who will play the Buckeyes for the National Championship?....personally I would like to see Florida in there, but another chance to really whip the snot out of Michigan wouldn't feel too bad either!smile8.gifIt was the Biggest rivalry in College football and Michigan played an equally Great gamehand6.gif Today is another Big if not Biggest rivalry in Pro football...the Browns and Steelers!...it would be Awesome to see the Browns open up a Can of Whoop A$$ on the Steelers!coyote2.gif

That's what JoePa's been saying for about 100 yrs.....Heck they get about 5 weeks off after their last game therefore they could have a playoff during the 5 weeks. I don't like the long layoff as that makes teams rusty.......

They could easily take the Top 8 teams and have a 3 game playoff:

Week 1: all eight teams play

Week 2: semi-finals

Week 3: Championship Game!!!! smile8.gif

I'd like to see Florida in there also, but, that said, I don't think anybody is going to beat Ohio this year!

Now, basketball...............that's a different story!
