Try this web site..........they give you all of the "deals".........updated every Sunday morning: http://www.salescircular.com   Simply click on your state....most deals are nationwide.

For example, here are this weeks deals in Arizona: http://www.salescircular.com/az/computer/laptpp.shtml

...and in Virginia!

http://www.salescircular.com/va/computer/laptpp.shtml

I own 2 notebooks, an hp and an Acer...............I like the Acer best!!!

Check out http://www.newegg.com, I bought a lot of lappies for the office and so far so good.

Usually good prices and good options. You will need to look around for what is best bang for the buck for your wife needs.

IBM/Lenovo has special deal going on as well. Here it is.

Dell always has good deals around, but you will need to look out for those special coupons. I do not have much exps with Dell, but most of my friends are happy with them.

If she wants to try something new, I recommend MackBook (now with Duo Core 2). These Intel based Apple is capable of dual boot (OS X and Win XP). Best of both world. I love it so far.

Try checking out notebookforum.com for some reviews of many lappy options.

Good luck hand6.gif

Nice prices and very decent upgrading costs as well, wonder what kind of discount 3Ts would get.

The portable 12.1 model ('05 award winning) has good chassis (seems like build by Asus). Asus is a very good and reliable company based in Taiwan.

Thanks for info Oscar, I surely will check this out for my next purchase. cool10.gif
